OpenAI just dropped their new model, and our lives have once again changed in 2024.
2024 is a crazy year in tech. We saw Devin (anybody know where he is now?), then we saw PHP rising like a phoenix again. We also saw some tech drama unfold on X. Overall, it was an exciting and fun year, and we still have 3.5 months left!

OpenAI has dropped its newest models - OpenAI has introduced o1 - a new series of reasoning models designed to solve complex problems by producing a detailed internal chain of thought before responding.
Internally, it is known as Project Strawberry/Q*. Rumor has it, they named it
